to begin editing any of your listings, on the edit listing page, please click on the edit listing button you’ll find on all of the listing you’ve created. After doing this a model window will open up and you will see the same fields you see when creating a listing. After making your edits, all you have to do is click the Update Listing button to save your edits.

The Edit Listings Page

Below you will find a description of all of the different areas of the Edit Listings Page. Please click on the toggle to the left hand side to see an image of the Edit Listings Page.

1. Listings Grid – Here you will find all of the listings you’ve created that you haven’t deleted as of yet.

2. Back to My Dashboard – If you would like to go back to your dashboard you can do so by clicking any of these two buttons situated above and below the Listings Grid.

3. Help Bar – Here you will find videos as well as a help page link which your on right now.

1. Listing Address – This is the title of your listing and is not displayed on the front end. We also use it to map out your listing location. We ask that you enter the address like the following examples: 12148 60 street, Edmonton; 12148 60 St, Edmonton, 1986 Garnett Way NW, Edmonton

2. Heading – Please come up with a brief heading to catch the attention of potential buyers. This will be displayed at the top of your listing. To see an image of this, click on the accordion toggle to the left labeled Listing Field Locations which is right below the toggle titled Listing Form Fields.

3. Display Address – This will display below the heading of your listing and at the top of your listing card. to see an example of where the address is displayed, click on the accordion toggles labeled Listing Field Locations and Listing Card Example.

4. Hero Image – This is the image that you will find displayed at the top of your listing right below your heading and display address. To see an image of this, click on the accordion toggle to the right labeled Listing Field Locations. The dimensions of your hero image are 1920px (wide) x 1010px (tall).

5. Image Gallery – Please select between eight and forty images for your Gallery. This will display right below your hero image as a carousel slide show and viewers will have the option to click on any of these images to see and enlarged slide show in a light box. To see what the carousel looks like please click on the accordion toggle labeled Listing Field Locations and to see an example of what the slider looks like after someone clicks an image, please click on the accordion toggle labeled Light Box Slider Example. The dimensions of your images are 500px (wide) x 300px (tall)

The fields from 6 to 16 are for search results on the front end in the Real Estate Section of Home to Castle.

6. House Number or Apartment Number – Please put the house number or apartment number here. Here are a few examples. Apartment Condo Examples: 243-2436. Single Family Home Examples: 1918,

7. Street/Avenue Number or name – Please put the street/avenue number or name here.  Some Exampels: 170 St; 170 Street; Whyte Ave; Whyte Avenue; 69 Ave; 69 Avenue

8. City/Town – If applicable, please select the city/town of your listing. If your property is not in a town or city,please select the Country property option

9. Neighbourhood – Please select the neighbourhood that your property is situated in. If you can’t find the neighbourhood name here, please select other and put the neighbourhood name in the next field.

10. Other Neighbourhood – If you can’t find the neighbourhood for your listing in the previous field labeled Neighbourhood, please select Other in that field and type in the name of your neighbourhood in this one. We will put that on your listing and make the necessary updates so it is now include it in the Neighbourhood field.

11. Square Footage – Please put in the square footage of your property here.

12. Property Class – Please select your listing’s property class from the drop down menu.

13. Property Type – Please select your listing’s property type from the drop down menu.

14. Property Style – Please select your listing’s property style from the drop down menu.

15. List Price – Please enter the list price of your property here.

16. Year Built – From the drop down menu please select the year your property was built.

17. Property Description – In 1,000 characters or less please enter a description of your listing

18. Excerpt – In 120 characters or less, please enter an excerpt here. If you like, you can copy and past from your property description. It doesn’t matter how much text your select for it will automatically cut it off at 120 characters if you select more than that.

19. Bedrooms – From the drop down menu please select the number of bedrooms for your listing.

20. Bathrooms – From the drop down menu please select the number of bathrooms your listing has.

21. Parking – Please select the type of parking your listing has. If your listing has multiple types of parking you can make more than one selection

22. Basement – From the drop down menu please select the type of basement your listing has.

23. Basement Development – Please select the level of basement development your listing’s basement has from the drop down menu.

24. Email Address – Please enter your email address in this field.

25. phone Number – Please enter your contact phone number into this field.

Contact Form – This contact form also sits on your open houses and is put there as a means of people being able to inquire about your listings and open houses and you will get an email sent to you from anyone who fills out this form and sends it to you.
